Devin at the front desk did a great job taking care of us. We'd had a very stressful 24 hours traveling. Devin made sure we were set up in room when we arrived, he was super polite and eager to help us. Room was what I expected, clean but dated. However, the customer service was so good I would definitely come back.

I was on a cross Mid-west trip and this was the fifth hotel on my journey. This hotel choice was a good one. It is very nice! I selected it because the rooms have small kitchens and there are laundry facilities on the ground floor (pay operated). Two prior hotels were of a similar type, operated by a competitor, but this franchise is by far superior and way nicer. This is a wonderful place to stay, and when I travel again I will choose this hotel. The kitchen to my surprise, was fully stocked! There was a nice coffee machine already in the kitchen ready for use. The bed was beautifully made and super comfy. The room was spotless. The hotel, inside and out was very modern, not to mention the rooms were up to date and very inviting. The room was in perfect condition. The bathroom was modern, functional, well equipped and literally spotless. No deferred maintenance at this facility. No damage, chipped furniture or damaged wall paint (unlike their competitor). This stay was such a joy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even took the time to explain a billing correction that resulted in a credit on my stay. The location was super, close to food, shopping and local ame

I had a great stay at Sonesta Simply Suites Detroit Ann Arbor for two nights, and the hospitality from the front desk team—especially Devin—really stood out. From the moment I arrived, Devin and his colleagues were consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. It's rare to find a team that makes guests feel so comfortable and appreciated. One small but memorable gesture left a lasting impression on me. The hotel had run out of water bottles to purchase, and when I asked about purchasing a couple of bottles from the front desk, the staff kindly refused to take my money and simply told me to keep it. It may seem like a small thing, but that level of generosity and customer service says a lot about how they treat their guests. The most memorable moment happened on the morning of my departure. As I was checking out and heading to the airport, Devin offered me a bottle of water for the trip. I told him one would be more than enough, but he handed me two! Again, it's a simple gesture, but those are often the moments that guests remember most. Beyond the outstanding service, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and generously sized. Overall, this was an excellent stay, and the w
